JOB PURPOSE
• Development, implementation, and management of the merchant acquiring strategy for First Capital Bank which involves acquiring and managing merchant relationships, to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and drive revenue growth. The role holder will work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, product development, and risk management teams, to achieve business objectives

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Build and maintain merchant relationships to ensure continual growth and sales targets
• Develop and implement pricing strategies for merchants acquiring products and
services
Manage the relationships of key accounts Develop and lead strategic alliances with Acquirers, merchants, and other stakeholders to achieve brand preference, including product, marketing, and technology initiatives
• Identify, develop, and lead the management of key merchant and Acquirer accounts. Add value to strategic merchants and Acquirers through the development and
implementation of initiatives that increase acceptance and use of products with a

strong emphasis on Omni channel and digital⚫ Must demonstrate the ability to close deals, solutions
• Train staff on the merchant acquiring products and knowledge
Gathering requirements from merchant inquiries and issues
⚫ Undertake office administrative duties as required in conjunction with – operations
• Coordinate with the IT team during product enhancement in terms of acquiring host system and terminal applications Coordinate with the Risk Management team on risk controls for Merchant Acquiring Business
Engage Credit on the underwriting process in making sure quick and seamless onboarding of Merchants
Monitoring chargeback and fraud volumes of merchant accounts and ensuring action plans are implemented to reduce merchant risk Constantly enhancing processes for better services of the merchant team in handling new merchant onboarding, merchant transactions, and merchant support along with other related forms for merchants

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE

University  Degree or equivalent in Business Management, Finance, Economics, or related fields
4+ years prior experience in managing the product. Proven track record of driving revenue growth and profitability in merchant- acquiring business

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Strong knowledge of merchant acquiring, the payments industry, and related regulatory requirements
Knowledge of acquiring products and services, including payment gateways, terminals, and other acquiring technology
• Understanding of merchant underwriting and risk management processes
Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills. Results-oriented/self-motivated
Project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams
Proficient in MS Office, in particular PowerPoint and Excel
